Here at TV Time we aim to provide a safe space for all of our users to engage with each other about the shows and movies they love. In order to maintain this safe environment, we have, in addition to our Terms of Service, developed a set of common sense Community Guidelines that we expect all of our users to adhere to. Violation of one or many of these may result in account suspension and/or termination.
Violence, Harassment, and Criminal Activity
Credible threats of violence, bullying, hate speech, promotion or distribution of controlled substances or weapons, illegal activities, and terrorist or hate groups have no place in the TV Time Community. Refrain from expressing or promoting views of hatred or intolerance towards others on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender or gender identity, religious views, sexual orientation, age, or disability. Do not post content that invades the privacy of others, including, but not limited to, posting phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, or other personal information. We also have a zero tolerance policy for those intentionally posting links to phishing or other malware sites. Do not plagiarize the comments or original content of others. Any content containing or promoting these will be immediately removed at our discretion, and, if appropriate, reported to authorities. If you come across content you feel is questionable or objectionable in the TV Time platforms, please notify us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Threats of Self-Harm or Suicide
TV Time empathizes with those who are struggling, and want to make sure you have the resources to get help if you need it. That said, it is not acceptable to post threats of self-harm, or content promoting or glorifying self-destructive acts. If, however, you or someone you know is going through a difficult time and needs support, you can start by contacting your local suicide prevention hotline:
- United States: National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255
- France: S.O.S Amitié 01 42 96 26 26
- Brazil: CVV 141
- Italy: Telefono Azzurro 19696
- Canada: Local Crisis Center
- Germany: Telefonseelsorge 0800 111 0 111
- United Kingdom: Samaritans 08457 90 90 90
If you do not see a local hotline in this list, please check out the International Association for Suicide Prevention’s website to find a center in your region. If there is anything that we can do to help, just let us know by using the "Contact Us" feature in the app, or email us at email@example.com.
Spam, Scams, and Malicious Content and Behavior
Any content posted to TV Time that disrupts another user’s experience or jeopardizes the integrity of the TV Time platforms will be immediately removed at our discretion. Examples of such content include, phishing, impersonation or misrepresentation, unauthorized sharing of private information, unauthorized advertising, distribution of malware, and fraud. Please know that a TV Time employee will never ask for your password. If someone claiming to be a TV Time employee asks you for any personal information other than your email address or URL to your account, please notify us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nudity, Pornography, and Sexual Content
Content containing nudity, sexual acts, innuendo, threats, or exploitation of an adult or minor are not permitted on the TV Time platform. Content containing these will be immediately removed, and when necessary, reported to the appropriate authorities. If, while using the TV Time platforms, you discover content such as this posted by another user, please notify us immediately at email@example.com.
This is a living document, and we will continue to evolve these guidelines as instances arise. Our goal is to create a safe space for fellow fans of great TV.
