New feature alert!
We're happy to announce TV Time's newest features, the Explore tab and the Feed, which represent our latest vision for TV Time. We have heard from countless users over the years that the comment sections and user-to-user interactions within the app are what drive people to stay with TV Time. The community is what makes TV Time so great and is what helped it to thrive from its very humble beginnings. We are determined to continue to improve TV Time and take it back to its roots- as a community with a passion for all things television, cinema, and more.
We should also mention that we certainly are not abandoning the pure utility of TV Time. Along with these changes, we are working diligently to improve the Watch Lists, Upcoming tabs, and other core functionalities that help you with what matters most: keeping track of what you watch.
Below we've outlined some of the highlights for these new features. As always, we welcome you to reach out to us directly by emailing support@tvtime.com or filling out our web form if you have any questions or concerns.
Welcome to the new Explore tab!
The Explore tab is your one-stop shop for discovering new series and movies, staying up-to-date with users you follow, and finding new communities to engage within TV Time. In this new tab, you have the ability to switch between the new Feed (see below for more details), Discover, Groups, and Activity.
Feed:
The first thing you'll notice when checking out the Explore tab is TV Time's new Feed feature. The Feed is a scrollable experience that allows you to easily browse the following:
- Suggestions for new series/movies based on what you track and follow in TV Time
- Top and trending series/movies globally and locally to your region
- New Groups to join and create conversation with other TV Time users
- Recent activity from users you follow
- And much more to come soon!
- Note: you may also hide individual feed items you do not wish to see by swiping them and choosing the hide option.
Discover:
- Here you will find the original Discover and Discover More functionalities within TV Time
-
CHANGES:
- The Groups feature has been moved to a separate Groups section (see below for more details)
- The Community Activity module will now be prominently featured in the separate Activity section (see below for more details)
- The Bring it Back? Module will now be pinned to the top of the Feed when active and will no longer appear in the Discover section
Groups:
- The Groups section will now be home to all of the available Groups to create topics in and discuss with other users
- Have an idea for a new group to add? Send us an email to support@tvtime.com with your suggestion!
Activity:
- The Activity section will contain the Community Activity modules so you can keep tabs on what users you follow are watching.
- COMING SOON: In an upcoming update just around the corner, you'll be able to see when users you follow have commented on a show or movie.
As always, we encourage you to contact us directly by emailing support@tvtime.com or filling out our web form if you have any questions or concerns regarding these changes or the app in general.
Happy Watching!
